Hardly. I helped transform a tight-ass into the relatively laid-back dude he is today. And rather than the last laugh, I like to think that we’re both happy that life has turned out well for the other. If you think about it, can you imagine a better mentor/buddy for a recent immigrant than myself? Me either.
Smak, the guy in the first picture looks like someone that would be on the show, Charles in Charge. Is it the same guy as in the second picture? Is that you with him? Why do people make fun of the way people talk? That’s dumb. I’m glad you guys became friends and Joey is now a laid back dude.
Always great to see you, Brigitte! I hadn’t previously noticed the resemblance to Charles in Charge (although it IS there), but that’s “Fez” from “That 70s Show” (played by Wilmer Valderrama). The character was a foreign exchange student from an unnamed country, and I thought that was a perfect analogue for my friend “Joey” (in quotes, ’cause I almost always change names–one time I didn’t and it came back to bite me).
And with Joey, it wasn’t the way he talked that was funny, but rather the things he said.
So are you trying to tell us you were a big bully? Well, given Joey’s accomplishments, sounds like he got the last laugh. 😉

“can you imagine a better mentor/buddy for a recent immigrant than myself? “—No, not a one.

The video ‘s not complete ? I wanna know what happens …..
Joey almost gives me a well-deserved ass-kicking, but that’s in Pt. 3, the final installment.
Cliff hanger? Really? Hard to believe you didn’t get along with someone 🙂
Of course, love wins out in the end.
