Europe’s insatiable jones for the sweet, sweet cheeba has increased the demand for high-quality marijuana. To meet this demand, peasant farmers in South America are growing cannabis in greater numbers. These farmers claim that growing illegal marijuana is the only way they can feed their families.

I stop the farmer and briefly pet the horse.

Just Legalize it and be done with it
It will greatly reduce the income of most of Mexico’s drug gangs, the tax income from its sales will help cities and states in the midst of financial crises, the violence that results from marijuana being an illegal substance will largely go away, and we can release many of the 300,000 people currently serving time in prisons around this country for no crime other than possession of Marijuana which will itself save $10’s of Billions each year and allow our police agencies to focus on real crimes.
