No, "P-O-L-I-O."--We Didn't Mean To Get Your Hopes Up Like That, But One Crisis At A Time.
The World Health Organization announced recently that a new polio vaccine could soon eradicate the childhood scourge. This is great news for people in countries afflicted by outbreaks of polio, but terrible news for the rest of the world, who believed the disease wiped out fifty years ago.

"Don't Be Such A Pussy About It. Polio Builds Character."
Rotary International has been trying to finally eradicate this for many years. The biggest problem they have had is that the last countries where this is epidemic are so fearful for their lives because of war that they trust nobody – especially someone that would potentially poison them. Big deal about the new vaccine. The old vaccines have worked – it’s a matter of getting it in the people that need it.
Our understanding is that the new vaccine is more effective against the strains of polio still extant.
I spat my tea. It’s the funniest post I’ve seen in ages!
Thank you so much, Nietskaya. We appreciate the compliment. Come again.
Mr. Anonymous is correct. And could also very possibly be MiLo in disguise.
The thought had occurred to us as well, but Anonymous’ ideas are too coherently presented and lacking in spelling errors to be MiLo.
